TPS adjustment screw thread size....

I feel like a dumbass posting this but I adjusted my TPS last night and I guess I did not tighten up the nut on the back side of the screw. So it is missing when I got to work today and looked under the hood. Does anyone know what size screw that is. I went to Lowe's and a M5 looked right but the standard .8 pitch is wrong. Is it metric or standard? I can't find any fine thread metric nuts under M8. Thansk in advance.

There is a locknut/nut and lock washer on the backside of the adjustment screw that prevents the screw from backing out of adjustment.

i think it's the same pitch as the throttle plate stop screw (which affects idle). And that's a super fine metric pitch. you will probably have to go to the dealer.

I was hoping I could find out what thread it was so I could just tap a new one, it looks to be a M5 x .5 but I have no way to confirm. If I call the dealer they may be able to tell me.

Yea i just called the dealer and they can get me the part but it comes a a 4 piece set, spring nut washer and bolt for $45 + shipping. So I am trying to see what else I can do. I am going to take my micrometer adn a pitch gage and find out what it is when I get home.
