Anyone know the stock gear ratios for a 90 T2 tranny is off hand, I don't feel like looking it up right now.

if you had 205/55/16s, T2 gears (i used .719 as 5th), and could actually get 5th to 7500 rpm, you'd be at 188mph. 4th @ 7500 would be 135. i can't imagine you pulling 7500rpm in 5th. much less on what appears to be a stock turbo + top mount.

I am pretty sure it's a swithc on the back of the speedo cluster. One of the NZ guys can probably back that up or shoot it down in flames
Anyway. Nice H mount! Is that a custom IC or did you get lucky and find a ebay one or something with those end tanks?

I don't know what gears are in My transmission. It was rebuilt, and they guy at the rotary shop replaced the gears with used ones(since mine were fucked). Also, I have a question about bell housings. Did all of them on Fcs have sort of ribbed reinforcement. because my used tranny hass a round bellhousing, that inst reinforced on the outside.

well your mph just dropped from what i previously listed. 7500 in 4th is 133, 7500 in 5th is 185. i don't think anyone will believe that you acheived 7500rpm in 5th.

i know you couldn't care what i think, but your mod list was dainty to say the least, yet you're going for a "200mph" run. and no one wants to see the speedo, they want to hear the gears (or see the stickshift) and see your tach. the speedometer isnt good for over 100, why would its exponential fault back up any claim of 185-200? thats the whole reason i brought gears into this.
and since you've been on the dyno doing mph runs, i would think you would have dynoed the car as well. maybe weighed it, too?

oh, and if you have a 185mph+ fc, please, by all means, post a new thread about it. you might also want to list everything possible about the car. if you can *prove* it, then many kudos. if not, i wouldn't bother with a thread.

when I hit 246kmh/150(speedo) I was running 225/50/16 all around......@11 psi and the AVC-R recorded 7300RPM as the peak rpm.....but that is either in 3rd or 4th gear....no way it could ever happen in 5th......

1.2400lbs is decently light.....
2.stock turbo is good for 260 HP if that depending on fuel mods......
3.It doesn't matter what gears you have if you don't have the power to use those gears.
4. did it occur to you that the speedo is inaccurate as soon as you change the rim size? dood, speedo is inaccuraqte even if you get bigger tires!
