Took Apart 13BT block with N/A rotors today...

Yep, title says it, i took apart my 13BT block and it has a busted *** intermediate housing inner coolant seal tract thing. (like the track where there coolant o ring goes into is warped) and one more thing i found was kinda weird. In order for me to get the rear rotor off the e-shaft i had to tap this lil tab down on the e-shaft in order for the rotor to slide off. What do you guys think might have been the purpose of this? Thanks

No man, it was like...they took the end of the E shaft hump and bent a lil part of it up, ill have to get pics. But, it was done intentionally to keep the rotor from coming off, beats me, i had to beat it down to get the rotor off. --shrug--

Something's WAY wrong there - the rotor bearing may have chewed into the eccentric shaft or something.

sounds good, im going to try to get this 4 port banging soon, but i can always use a spare engine or two around the house. I know Adam (mazdaspeed07) has a block waiting for me. But, the more the merrier, haha. PM me about directions and times about your get-together this weekend man.

Roy: are you talking about the rotor bearing? They have notches in them that line up with the rotor.
