TOMEI LSD in `91 GXL

I'm doing a complete TII swap in a few weeks. I have a Japanese Engine, Trans, and ECU on the way. The only problem is that i need a rear end. The cheapest i can find a TII rear end is for around $500-$700. So i was thinking that i should just get a quality LSD, and i stumbled across this on ebay today http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW .

Does anyone have this brand and is this any good? I know it claims it's for drifting, which i will be doing very little of, i'll be doing more Solo II, or drag racing.
Thanks for any help or suggestions.

get the real TII rear end, its worth alot more then an LSD, its designed to withstand the torque of a turbo, you'll break a lot of things in your n/a drivtrain with all that tourque

First of all, that LSD will probably not fit ANY non-turbo FC rear end.
This makes it a moot point to even bother discussing trying to stuff it into your NA rear end.
In fact, most LSD's coming out of Japan are only made to fit in US-Spec Turbo II rear ends.
This means you need a Turbo II rear end if you want to use most of these aftermarket LSD's.

Second, LSD's are EXPENSIVE.
Get used to these prices, because even the KAAZ unit is priced about the same.
We're looking at Cusco and OS Giken LSD's which start over $1,000!

Third, stock clutch-type LSD's are all probably junk.
They will normally wear out byu 35k to 50k, and most original units require to be rebuilt to work properly.

Forth, if you're going to want to keep the stock NA FC rear end, a Miata Torsen is a GOOD upgrade.
