Toe alignment in reference to what?

Hey all,

I see the spec's regarding what is suggested for toe both front an rear. It indicates X mm.

If you reference in terms of distance, you need to reference a distance from the center of the wheel. I have not seen this in any specifications and PLEASE correct me if I missed something.

Here is what I use: 8.25" from the center of the wheel is the edge of my rim. If I am looking to create a toe out scenario, I am looking for a difference of 1mm from the back to the front of the wheel (16.5").

So my dilemma is this: what is my 1 mm in relation to the specifications out there? Is this more toe out than their spec's or less?

Thanks,
Ben

I think you miss my point. I don't need the "Manual Specifications". I need to understand when they say toe shoud be 0 +/-3mm, what is the 3 mm in relation to?

The difference in distance between the midpoint centerline on the front of the tire and the midpoint centerline on the rear of the tire. If the front distance is less, toe in, if the front is more toe out. In this case the difference between the two measurements +/-3 mm.
