hahahahaha cats omg thats great. . .nice job tho. . i cut mine out and left it open. . and it looks worse than that, i had no tools and was bored so I used a dry wall saw.. *lol*

o man buy some mesh gril or somthin. i think they might have that stuff at pep boys. that looks weird.

you can get mesh grill cheap on ebay, and its light so the shipping ain't much. You can paint mesh grill too. Chicken wire doesn't look as sporty. Nice cut job tough, real smooth.

they sell that mess grill at home depot, buy the fencing stuff. its the exact same stuff they have on ebay and stuff. it will look alot better...

Really nice job - except for the hardware cloth.
IMHO expanded metal would look better, but maybe not flow as good.
How about fluorescent light grating?

I'm not big on the choice of mesh either but I think it would look ok if painted a gloss or flat black (I.E. not noticeable). We used screen mesh for like screen doors on the nose of the GVR4 w/ the first FMIC to protect it...looked good, was a dark gray color.

i just did it to mine and looks good, but not as big of an opening because i didnt cut out the bottom part of the bumber. but thats also because i have an aftermarket bumber from the 80s(still looks nice tho).
