To4B A/R compare?

A/R 0,84 vs 0,96 vs 1,15

How would they spool up with HKS cast and street ported engine? When Would I see full boost and how much hp could I get? What A/R should I go. My goal is ~375-400rwhp@14-15psi. Full boost @~3500-4500rpm.

What other choice do I have to achieve my goal? How about the "BLOWZILLA"? at what psi is its sweet spot?

You won't hit 400whp@1bar with a T04B turbo.

I have an HKS T04R with an .84 A/R and I hit just over 400whp at 15lbs, and thats with a loooot of mods. (HKS T04R is a T66 sized wheel)

We had a t04B on the car before that and made a fair bit less power.

@ what rpm do you see full boost? To4R IS an option for me. What kind of porting you have?

I saw the blowzilla and it looks ok. I am going with the ballbearing version of the GT35/40
I don't see that having a problem hitting 375-400 on 15lbs. I already bought a BW S200 that I was going to run on advise from BDC. He ran the same turbo and hit 400 at 15lbs. so it depends on if I have the funds at the moment to get the new turbo setup.

A few select people have hit 400whp @ 15 psi on a T04B (60-1). 1FastT2 comes to mind. I think JScott's AE did as well. Must have great tuning, though.

I would say go with the .96 or 1.15 for more top end. I would expect full boost 3500-4000rpm.

If I remember right a few guys with 1,15 A/R had allmost no boost at all until 5000rpm?!?

Really?? That seems quite odd.

BTW what is the max boost and power from the T04B?

A 60-1 can hit 400rwhp; I think your afm is starting to become a huge restriction at the power you are putting down rob.

Too many variables...
Even if you say "streetport", I've seen bazillions of different street ports out there.
We can't predict exactly at what RPM the boost will hit.

I have a racing beat streetport. I think someone would use word "mild" with it?
I don´t have to know the exact rpm but in what rpm area would get close. So if I go for example 1,15 A/R SHOULD I see full boost around 3500-4000 or 4500-5000 and how about 0,96 A/R? That I´d like to know how much they differ from each other.
Thanks

1.15 should see around 4,000RPM.
