Tire size

I just purchased some 16 inchers cause theyre really nice. Ive been talking to my friend about how big of a tire I should get. He says this and that. But I need to know what tire size I should get to make my car look ok while dropped some. Thanks!

Kal tire if you have it will tell you exactly what you need, or any tire shop.

well my buddie was like 55 are to big it'll look funnie but going with 50 or 45 I'll have a gap in between no matter how low I drop it. Im just trying to make sure what looks the best here since everyone owns fcs.

Since they are only 16s, probably a 55. If they are the same width as stock, try a 205/55R16. If they are wider, then maybe a 215/55R16. I work at a tire shop so this seems like it would be about right. Just in the sense of keeping the overall tire diameter the same as stock

If you choose a wider tire, you'd want to drop the middle number to keep the same overall tire diameter. It's an aspect ratio, not a unit measurement. The first example would give a tire 632mm across, and the second 643mm.

stagger that ish...i work in a custom wheel and tire shop, and that is all we do here...i would personally go with a 225/50/16 in the front, and a 245/45/16 in the back. plenty of rubber to meet the road, and as long as your rims are the right offset, you shouldnt have any fender clearance issues and the two tires are within 2 tenths of an inch of each other as far as overall height, and within a half of an inch of your stock overall tire height so it shouldnt throw off your speedometer either.

Yup 225/50/16. My wheels are 16x7 all around and I ran 205/55/16s for a whlie. Better tire selection in 225/50, looks better cuz its wider and not as big a sidewall. What 205/55 looks like:

I want to get some Falken Azenis RT-615 but they only go up to 225/50/16. So I thought about it and I might go with 215/45/16 up front then the 225/50/16 in the back. Will this look/be ok?
