Timing help.
Timing help.
Is there any way to time the rotary without using the eccentric pulley marks? I pulled off the front cover and when I put it all back together it had timing issues. I tried to time it by aligning the eccentric marks and then aligning the CAS marks but it won't fire right. I even tried to time it by turning over another motor that runs, to where i could see the apex seal in the L1 spark plug hole and seeing where the CAS marks where and timing mine accordingly.
I think I solved the oil pressure issue though.

wait, make sure you set the CAS right otherwise you'll never get the timing right.
I set the yellow mark to the needle, unplugged and pulled out the CAS, popped open the eyelet (without breaking it) and turned the gear until the needle was visible in the eyelet and I lined up the bottom of the CAS ( car runs fine now and the timing is dead on.
that can be found on page G-32 of the FSM or pg 34 on the online manuals.
