Transmission help!!!

ok here is the deal i have a 86 Rx7 n/a and i need a new tranny is it fine to get a T2 s4 tranny and use the stock flywheel, or should i also look for a T2 s4 flywheel?

You'd need to replace the driveshaft, as well. And IIRC you will have to bolt on a TII flywheel, use a TII cluch and TII pressure plate.

EDIT: And a TII slave cylinder.

You will need
Tranny
Tranny crossmember(maybe?)
newdriveshaft that will adapt from the TII tranny to an NA rear end
tII flywheel
TII clutch
TII slave cylinder

All in all at the price you can get an NA tranny in decent condition, it's not worth it, i'm getting one for free locally.

are you not forgetting the gearing advantage on a T2 tranny?

Can you post the gear ratios for each transmission, or a link to where this information can be found? I remember reading it somewhere, but I've since forgotten.
