Time for a rebuild?

Pretty sure I popped a coolant seal. noticed the engine got a little different deal to cold start for a while (like it was rich on one rotor) and then one day I let the temp get away from me (pegged it). It'll still starts and runs, but the temp gauge just keeps on going up.

It's an 87 gsl I rebuilt about 60k ago with Atkins parts. Ran very good all along.

Question is this: Might I have damaged/cracked any hard parts from the excessive heat? Just wondering what to look for special when I tear it down.

Thanks

Thanks, I'll be taking a look. I have the facilities to do so. Has anyone ever attempted re-torquing
the main studs that we know of?

Re torquing the main studs? Do you mean the main bolts that hold the stack together?

The spec for that is in the FSM
