TII won't start, no click or cranking.
My TII was involved in an accident a while ago. Damaged the front bumper and right fender. I had been having problems where the battery would lose all it's juice. We tracked the problem down to a headlight that was stuck halfway up and the motor would consitantly drain the battery. So I've recharged the battery and pulled the headlight motor fuse as a temporary fix.
Now when I turn the key in the on position and all the internal lights come on ok but the car won't start. There's no click and there's no crank. There also seems to be a beeping coming from my computer. Does anybody know what the problem could be?

The fuse box in the left front corner of the engine bay. Make sure all the fuses are good.
Then follow the harness from that fuse box. About five inches from the fuse box you'll find a single wire connector. Is it connected? Does it have 12v on the side of the connector that is toward the fuse box?

Is this it(attatched pic)? Or is that something from the removed power steering?

Nope. That's another animal. The one I'm talking about is in the same area, but its a single wire connector. Black wire. Spade connector.
The one in your hand is for the auto suspension or what ever they called that thing. Most all these cars will have the connector even if you didn't have the auto adjust suspension.
That pink fuse. Follow the harness just as it comes out of the fuse box. About six inches down from there should be a single wire connector.
About replacing the main fuse. BE careful and disconnect the battery positive post first. You don't wanna arc the power to ground on the fuse bolt as you remove the fuse(main).
MaTT_FoULk.....ooops. I see. Its a old post. Different person. If the connector I'm talking about is off, you will have headlights etc, but when you turn the ignition key to start, not a darn thing will happen. No clicking of the main relay, no spinning starter etc. So I don't know what your exact problem is so............??????
Let's say its a case of you having headlights, but when you turn the key to start you get no clicking of the main relay and no starter action at all. If the fuses are good in the engine bay you can go to the interior of the car. About six to ten inches down the steering column from the ignition switch, you will find a black, two socket connector. One pure black wire, the other black/white. The black wire should have 12v on it all the time. If not then there is probably a break in the circuit b/t there and the fuse box. There is only one connector b/t the two places. Its the single wire, single connector, about six inches from where the wires come out of the fuse box.

Sorry for being vague. I searched and found this thread similar to my problem.
Here is my situation. After sitting over night my '88 TII would require a jump start, so I removed both the battery and the alternator. Turns out the battery was bad so I got a brand new battery for free under warranty. Installed the battery and alternator. I go to start it and there is no clicking, no sound, nothing. However the headlights still function as do the interior lights, oddly the radio doesn't. I have tried to make sure that all the wires are connected to the starter but I can't be positive until I get my jack stands back from a friend I loaned them too. I swapped all the fuses from my vert into my TII except the main fuse which is screwed in as I'm now told (I'll swap them tommorow). I think I found the connector you are talking about and will test it tommorow when my dad finds his volt meter.
Please help my dumb ***.
