TII Vs NA Eng. Acc.

Ongoing final details of getting ready for this swap...

What is the compatibility of the various pump accessories (power steering, A/C, etc) across different engine designs? S4 vs S5, and Turbo vs NA? Do any cross over, are just the brackets different, or are all four versions completely different? (Trying to figure out what things can be swapped over from the S4 NA engine to the S5 TII engine.)

This is all covered in the parts manual or the FACtory Service manual if you are willing to look. It sticks in my mind that there are two types of power steering setups on the S5s and only one of them is compatible with the S4 power steering setup.

I don't know anything about air conditioning. Simply look up the part number on Autozone or Advance, etc. that shouold give you an idea (not that they don't make mistakes.)

Anyway, here are a few tools to get you going.

s5 FSM

s4 FSM

I hope this helps.
