Tii Swap Question

Ok so I am now about ready to do my Tii swap into my 86. I am going to be doing an aggressive street port before i drop the engine in. This is probably a newbie question but is the exahaust system compatible with the ported engine, or do i need to go with a custome to accomidate the ports? I want to buy the full racing beat turbo back exahust system, but I don't know if that will bolt up to a ported motor.

Yes...

Get a stock DP and two flanges and have an Exhaust shop make you a pipe that bolts straight up to your cat... unless you want to be fancy and get the RB DP and Resonator...

I would if I were you just spend the money on the exhaust if you plan on raising boost. The stock exhaust is very restrictive.

A ported engine (in most cases) only has the intake ports enlarged. The exhaust system is completely separate.
