TII swap: into a GTUs or Miata?
the GTUs swap!! its really cheap, ive only got about $6k invested in mine, and its really easy to do. people who say an NA -> T2 swap is hard are on crack. the most technical thing id ever done engine-wise prior to the swap was an oil change, and i swapped in a jdm t2, which required a engine wiring harness swap with no refernce to go by. me and friend, with even less experince than me, installed the engine in about 4 days. the hard part is finding all the parts you need
well, If I have to do alot of custom work I don't think it is worth it.....that and the fact that I am short on the money thing.....I have a GTUs now.....and it will be easier than a miata TII swap. My goal now is to eventually rebuild my GF's miata and convince her to get it turbo'ed....

Its predominantly much older guys, or women. There are a few good guys on there that are performance oriented, and know what they are talking about, but the majority are pansy-men who couldnt even change their own oil if they had to.

I hate to revise the dead. But I have been planning this swap for years, and just now am getting to it. I am failure with the 5.0 bolt in swaps and v6 swaps but I have not come across someone making drop in mounts for a 13bt or REW. If anyone does know where to get mounts I would greatly appreciate it.
If not then I will just start on fabing the mounts when I get the hoist hydraulic rebuilt.
ps. the miata community is not that helpfull I agree.
