Cool TII street port ... this ok? [PICS]

Well, I used the RB street port template as the guide. Just wanted to see how it looks.

I just went with teh streetport because I really dont want to hurt drivability. The mods are BNR3 turbo, Greddy FMIC, and a E6K.

I did have one question.

The side of the port closest to the eshaft. There is a lip that is formed by the surface that the rotor slides on and the transistion to the inside of the port. You can feel that lip if you run your finger up out of the port and to the surface. Seems like it wasnt lined up right.

BDC says to get rid of that. As a reselt i would open the port towards the eshaft. The question I had is how far can i go that way? Doesn't the oil control ring run right by there?

Woot new housings

You really need to graph on your oil seal tracks, that'll let you know where they run, then you can just remove the lip to the point you feel comfortable at within the distance of your oil rings. There's no real other way than doing it like that to be 'sure', unless you've done it a million times and know how to spot exactly where it is.

try just using some higher grit sand paper by hand, it's hard to see how big the lip is but i would definatly get rid of it trying very hard not to open the port towards the oil control ring.
