TII Smoking under hood

Need help....

87 Turbo II after idling for a small amount of time somewhere near turbo starts smoking like something is hot. Car temp gauge doesn't read hot and it doesn't seem like it's overheating. Coolant in radiator is where it should be and it's not spilling into the overflow. Looks like there is oil build-up around turbo outlet so i pulled all hoses, took off the intercooler and looked down in the turbo and it's spotless.

When it's smoking it almost smells like antifreeze but it just doesn't make sense to me. Someone please help!!!

Your turbo is feed oil and coolant from the engine. The coolant feed goes through the intake on it's way to the turbo. You may be leaking coolant from the o-ring between the intake and block, or the feed line to the turbo.
