Is this TII setup good?

I just bought an 89 TII with blown engine. Its got an F-con with FCD and CCG, also CS cat back. At my house I've got a rebuilt and streetported S5 TII engine that ill be putting in.

So my question is can I run a stock turbo +street ported engine+ CS cat back+ intake with the stock ECU and injectors? Or do I need to do some mods to have it run ok like that?

I'd say it'd work just fine........except I'm not familiar with how the streetport will effect things. If not for that I'd say it'd be fine as long as the boost was held to 10-12 psi.

I'd suggest buying a good wideband meter for three-four hundred bucks so you can see what is happening, or if in a money crunch, go to a known good dyno shop and have them take a look at it.

GCC information is found here.... http://www.mazdatrix.com/d4.htm

The only main problem with that set-up is the blown engine

Did you not see the part where he has a rebuilt/streetported 13BT ready to install in it?

WTF are you talking about?

Not all engines will seize at 7K RPMs... busting they tranny. Thats the only way I see something messing up as far as the drivetrane goes.

When an apex seal goes the engine loses power. How would that affect the drivetrane? Please know what your talking about before you say something. Too many people on here like that.
