car sputters when turbo kicks in

hey everyone..... new to the group, but not to rx-7's. i just did an 88' t2 swap on my 91' (dont laugh, i had a 91 se and an 88 turbo, decided to convert the two) anyways...... everytime the turbo kicks in, the vehicle spits and sputters for a second, then boosts great!! why is this???? it never did it when it was in my 88????? since i put the motor in i have done these mods....hope it helps
-apexi twin chamber blow off valve
-660cc primary and secondary injectors (or so i was told)(bought off ebay)
-3" catback exhaust
-custom intake

thats about it (that would affect the motor anyways)... the injectors might not be 660's, but they are 550's at the very least..

Do you still have the restrictor pill in the vacuum line to the boost pressure sensor on the passenger side strut tower?

I'd say there is a pretty good chance it's gone then. My 87 kinda went goofy when I hit boost ,I was running rich, and finally the strainer is on the end of the fuel pump, it's a little rectangle filter, they are only like 4 dollars from mazda.

if i'm not wrong don't our cars run rich enough as they are and if your secondaries are larger than stock wouldn't you have a slight problem with running rich when you hit w/o something to tune down the secondaries??

again i'm just assuming you don't have some kind of fuel controller since i didn't see you mentioning one??
