tII project build. many questions.

hey, im not another stupid kid who will waste your time.

I recently sold my 91 fc cuz i want to go with TII for my fun/project/track car

I have a 94 accord as my daily so this wont need to run everyday.

Goal: as much hp and grip for the least $$
Im planning on doing this project in stages.
I. Engine build
II. Drivetrain and Engine accesories
III. Suspension and brakes

I.) First off i want to build a 13bt so it will be possible to drive on the street but doesn't have to be legal just a tiny bit sane.

I've read up on alot of posts and i will probably do the work on my own port it (bridge or steet port?), Fd rotors, 3mm seals and new gaskets ect (rebuild kit).

II.) im hoping i get a decent trans and lsd in the car as that should be suitable for non drag appication? and upgrade the clutch.

accesories im not sure how much $ ill have but what would be a reaonable setup with a standalone system or what would be the most economic turbo/modification path? (i've seen that link that has mods and hp levels just curious what is suggested though)

III.) suspension wheels brakes whats recommened.

as for everything else i just want body to be stock and maybe ill get some seats i want to do some track sorta events, auto x, canyon driving ect. weekend fun car.

thank you in advance!!!!

well you need to be a little more concrete on your goal...you say you have a daily driver and want the TII for auto-x, track days, but it COULD be driven on the street? don't forget if you want to take it on the street, it has to be street legal......pick one or the other more or less...you can fudge the lines a bit but not much

also, whats you budget for the project...that will be one of, if not the largest limiting factor

i dont really care if its street legal u can get around most of that stuff. but as for track qualifications what are the requirements on that stuff?

budget is going to be a bit weird cuz im not going to do it all at once... basiclaly im going to install the motor, clutch and turbo this summer. so $4k for all that including the car?

then im going away for school for a bit and when i get back ill drive it like that for a bit then id guess i could spend another 3-4k on everything else if i work some more and get $ working over summer.

Depends on what class you run in.

As far as a 3-4 thousand dollar budget on motor, turbo, clutch AND the whole vehicle........................................... ...................

buy the car for 3 and drive it like that...I would anticipate you'll NEED to spend at least 2,500usd (im in canada, so rough conversion) for a decent TII and you'll be further behind if you cheap out on the actual car.

well if you're gonna do the rebuild yourself, figure on spending 1000 dollars time your all said and done...

a turbo...now that depends how much power you want to make....a decent hybrid (hehe oxymoron??) can be had for about 500 bucks and then comes fuel upgrades, pump, possibly regulator, larger secondaires (if not upgrade all 4) and some type of ecu upgrade - Rtek or mayabe an Safc...

for the fuel system figure you'll spend about another 500 on incidentals (fittings, line etc along with all the big items)

the management (rtek or safc) will be fairly inexpensive - but anyone will tell you full standalone gives you more capability - for a full EMS, figure 1600-2000 for a nice Haltech
