TII Motor + Tranny with a GTU Rear End

Will this bolt up? It's for an S4. Also would a TII motor bolt up to a NA tranny?

EVERYTHING is transmission dependent. You can put an N/A or Turbo Trans on any 13B or 13BT.

A Turbo Trans needs a turbo flywheel/clutch/slavecylinder
A N/A Trans needs an N/A Flywheel/clutch/slavecylinder

A N/A Rear end can be mated to a Turbo Trans by using a custom driveshaft or ordering special one for that purpose from maztatrix.

The turbo drive shaft can be modified to fit. IDK why I dont see more people saying this. My Turbo swap is still using the n/a differential with my drive shaft drilled to fit the smaller bolt pattern on the differential. My buddies s4 is had the same thing done to it. If there is something wrong w/ this someone tell me but the drive shaft is hub centric so it will always be centered once properly bolted down and seated.

So a TII engine would bolt up to an N/A trans

If you use an N/A Flywheel/Clutch/slavemaster cylinder and starter.

Don't abuse it and it should last...abuse it and you will learn to change transmissions pretty dam well.

Your title is misleading if that was your actual question.

he wants to use a N/a rear end with turbo 2 tranni. i think you might could use a automatic driveshaft with a spacer out back dont quote me on that though i would need to measure them.

Well basically, I want to do a TII swap and Im not sure what all I need. Cause I was gonna get the TII Engine and tranny and then bolt it up to my stock GTU Rear.

Sorry if that was misleading.

I've decided to just go with the TII engine, and bolt it to the n/a tranny. But since the engine is being pulled I'm going to upgrade my clutch as well. I'm looking at the ACT Street Disc, I don't believe there's a different clutch an n/a model or a Turbo model. So I shouldn't have any trouble bolting it in, correct me if I'm wrong.

I am wondering Why you would UPgrade the Clutch, when you aren't really going to see it's Potential anyhow..You let that Baby Go,and you are Gonna break something..Take the clutch money and get a TII rear...right Now I have a N/A engine to a TII trans,to an N/A Diff..so **** will Bolt up..Oh,I use a conversion shaft..I wouldn't Trust Drilling the flange..that's not Safe in my eyes.

Well, the reason I was going to upgrade the clutch was because I'll being adding more power later so might as well do it now. The reason I wanted to use the rest of the n/a tranny was so I didnt have to drill the flange or modify it or anything.

Use an auto driveshaft. It's a little short but it will work until you can afford the Tii rear.

The ring gear is an inch larger and the axles are stronger.

Ok, well unfortunately. I'm on sort of a tight budget (about 2000$), so I'm going to do the engine and everything now and as the funds come in upgrade the rest of it. At the most I'll probably running a bit more than stock boost, so I don't see a reason to worry because I would upgrade my transmission and everything before I went for more power.

Go with a s4 n/a LSD at the least. Those will hold up better than a open diff.

That's what I had planned to do, that's why I was asking about whether or not a TII tranny would bolt up because most TII engine swaps come with the tranny...

Where did you get the conversion shaft from?

Mazdatrix, but it's expensive, more expensive than a tII rearend. The auto driveshaft will work fine until you want more power.
