TII intake alternative?
Ok I am 75% done w/ my tii conversion but I still have yet to get 2 parts i need. I did try a quick search but I always suck at using the search on this forum. I need the intake piping for the mass air flow to the turbo and a down pipe. What I was wondering is one ive heard the n/a mass air will work whats the big differance? Should I get a tii one? And also I found the stock intake pipe for it I found for 175 and thats way too much for a piece of plastic that I feel I could replace w/ metal and rubber adapters to a cone filter after the mass air. Could these things be easily sourced at a local auto zone or advanced auto? or napa or anywhere really? Im just wanting to get it on the road for now I guess as I am closing on a year of owning the car and only about 2 weeks of it actually running and that was on half an engine. Also some additional questions somewhere I read that i need the tii fuel pump relay. whats the differance why do i need it. I have the tii fuel pump already. And also I read I needed a dash harness does that mean the entire harness behind the dash? Could I just add a wire or 2 instead? I have a tii cluster and the harness it comes w/ (i think). Well any tips or input would be great. Sorry if this is another noob tii question thread.
