A little FC help?
ok everyone, i just got my first 86 rx7 and im rebuilding the motor, the air pump what is that? smogger? and do i need it? if not what do i do if i dont. thanx

Depends on whether you need emissions. It injects air into the cat, and other emissions related functions.(ACV, etc.) Unless you are turning this into a track only car, gutting everything, I would keep it. However, a lot of guys here remove all their emissions. If you do take it off, you will have to block off a few things.
