TII housing with Fd housing?

Hey guys just a quick question for you all. My motor gave out awhile ago (front iron coolant wall gave out) so im in the middle of rebuilding it. I already bought a useable front iron but the rear rotor housing was also not usable. I bought another housing off ebay and the seller said it was from a 87 tII which is what i have, not that its here the housing is from a fd instead. If i drill out the coolant plug is it ok to use different housing front and rear, or should i match them to each other?

Thanks

no you cant use em because S4 to S6 the S6 spark plugs holes where lowered 4 degrees i had the same problem and if you rebuild it .. it will cause idle problems...

if it's a good fd housing...turn around and sell it on ebay for more than what you paid for it.

assuming he didn't overpay for what was supposedly an 87 housing...he could probably get double what he paid for the fd housing

That, or I'd trade him for a good t2 housing to save him some time
