is this TII worth it????

ok heres the deal, my friend is looking and mybe 50%% chance hes going to buy this T2, the shell is in good condition a ding here and there but not bad, the engine has been street ported and big exhaust ports but don't know if they did a complete overhaul( new apex seals, oil ring, side seals etc). the engine starts and it doesn't smoke. the car has a 4 puck clutch that for me is hell in a street daily driven car. the dash doesn't turn on dont know why, but overall thats the bad problems it have, and i forgot that the owner sais that it has a problem when it is at low rpms he says that the car hesitates, my thought is that it need new spark plug wires or new ignition. and thats it, my question is does the car is worth 1,900 is an s5 1989 TII. i don't know, but for me it has some problems let me know what you guys think.

The low RPM hesitation prob can be fixed. Look in the FAQ. Sounds like a steal.

Depends on the miles, and how many ricans have gotten to it before you. Ricans do some crazy stuff to their rotaries!

yeah dude .. an s5 turbo for under 2k?

even if you had to swap the dash (highly unlikely) it would still be MORE than worth it ..

you could fix those two problems and turn around and sell it for like twice as much as you got it for ...

****** it!
