TII Gauge Cluster Question

So I have a 1989 GXL, I swapped in a S5 JDM TII. During the swap my temperature gauge went out. So instead of having all these extra gauges everywhere I just wanted to swap over to the turbo II gauge cluster. So looking on line for them I see they all have different codes. These are all S5 clusters, so which code do I need for my car???

Any s5 one should work, just got to swap a few pins. Could put a s4 one in too, if you repined everything.

Why do you want the tII cluster? The n/a one has a voltmeter.

Edit: You said the temp gauge stopped working after the swap? Sounds more probable that it'd be the sender, not the gauge.

Thanks, I'll be testing it here soon. If it is the cluster I'm buying the c04 one, considering it's half the price of the rest.
