TII almost done, need help with final issues!

Well I finally reassembled everything and cranked the car up after almost 5 monthes of rest. If you missed my last post I installed a BNR Stage III Upgrade, an E.L. Prototypes computer upgrade, 4 720cc Injectors and a new fuel pump to my TII.

It would not start on the first shot, nor on its own at all...although some smoke came out from near the turbo.

I tied the car to the back of my friends new hummer, and upon being towed the car started up, although the idle was at 3k.

Upon bringing the car back to my house I saw that it SEEMS that I have an exhaust leak coming from the downpipe bolts, which I totally believe at this point because I know I probably didn't put them as tight as I could have.

And I also spotted a coolant leak from somewheres under the turbo.

These leaks aren't my big concern right now but my idle at 3000 RPM is...

Does anyone have any ideas why this may be? I let the car fully warm up and everything, plus when I gave it gas it was slow revving and had not power.

At the same time however I had the boost controller set all the way down and I had a viscous exhaust leak. (Yes I know boost controllers cannot lower boost, but with the much larger wastegate I expect boost to be very low withouth the controller)

I would really appreciate any help on this matter, this is my daily driver and I NEED it back on the road.

P.S. The car still will not start on its own, it must be towed in gear. Thanks for the help!!

check compression, then change your plugs and check for large vacuum leaks especially the TID area.

I was suspecting perhaps a vacume leak somewhere, the idle was almost rock steady at 3000 RPM. I will order a new set of plugs since it can only help. I hope the compression however is good since it was fine on the motor before I started working elsewhere.

Is there a danger of a permanent compression loss?

Or maybe just something such as the car has to run fo a while to regain the compression?

Thanks for the help!!
