Plywood and duct-tape will do it everytime!

Remember, you only need 2 tools when working on your car: A hammer and duct-tape.

Duct tape is for when something moves and it shouldn't, a hammer is for when something doesn't move and it should!

(Sorry for the randomness!)

Where can you buy a new tie-rod? Do you have to go through Mazda, or is there aftermarket (performance?) versions out there?

Depends. Moog makes good tie rod ends, but i don't think they make the actual tie rod. *If it were my car* I would order one through mazdatrix, or mazda corp. (both being OEM peices).

www.mazdatrix.com is the website to go to.
