Throttle cable

Is it just me or is this all rx7s. I can never get the throttle cable removed from the firewall. can some one give me pointers. Being stuck under the dash upside down for 2 hours is not fun.

use a large flat tip screwdriver and push the four legs that hold the clip to the firewall. for the bottom two push up, for the top two push down. It took me like 30 mins to get it out the first time.
