throttle cable

I just replaced the throttle cable. My question is there anyway to verify that it's adjusted properly. The pedal seems like it sits closer to the fire wall and doesn't have as much travel as before. (this maybe because the original cable was 15years old and possibly stretched) My only issue is that it seems like the idle sits a little higher.

There should be a little bit of play at the TB where it is connected.

As long as there's a little bit of slack at the TB with your foot off the pedal, and the throttles are fully open when you push right down, it's fine.

I've heard that that before. Cable being stretched. I find that highly unlikely, considering the tension It endures to begin with, respectively. Make sure the Cable Is latched on to the swindel, closest to the Firewall. But I'm sure you already knew that.

Throttle cable adjustment is in the fsm, online, free, at several sites.
