Question Throttle body size?

Ok...I know it's here somewhere...I just can't seem to find it...

I know the S4 and S5 throttle bodies are the same...but what is the relative size of them? I want to use one for another project and the Rex TB is larger, I think. Also, do the seperate butterflies (referring to the 2 smaller ones) open when ever the throttle is pushed? Or do they only react under certain conditions?

Sorry...I am at work right now and am trying to make some plans for tomorrow or I would check it out myself. Thanks for the help!

The TB bores (the plates are oblong slightly) are 3x 45 mm, and thus are all the same size. There are no two "smaller ones". The primaries open first, followed by the secondaries.

It might be more beneficial to give us your intended application.

the intended application would be to replace the stock throttle body on a 7M-GE engine with a custom intake manifold. I think that even though the Rex TB appears to be smaller than the N/A Supe TB I think it will flow more. It's just something I want to play with as I have a half dozen FC TBs...but no spare 7M TBs.

If I get to do things the way I want to the end result will be not much more than an over sized go-kart...a fast one.

Thanks
