Throttle Body Porting

I have been scowering the threads and saw many people talking about porting the tb but I couldn't find any threads or websites on how to do so. I was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of a thread or if they know how to do it themselves some notes they have or something. It would be much appreciated.

I did it to mine. I completely removed the secondary butterflies and ported it until it looked like it would flow better. I actually removed a lot of material.

It doesn't help. Matter of fact, if you're using the original ECU, it will drive worse. I was able to tune the idle transition stumble out, but with a stock computer it will hate you. Been there/done it/ seriously hated it, and it gained me absolutely nothing.

It also sent me to the ER because I got a shard of aluminum in my eye. I was even wearing safety glasses.

if you have a modern ECU there are a couple of things to remove (thermowax), but other than that your time is much better spent elsewhere

I’ve got one I bought that was already done, and done well, for mine, before I blew mine up. I’m going ITBs and stand-alone now. I’ll send it to you for $50+ ship
