I do try to search sometimes. Through the years, I have seen good info, just never saved the page...and when I check it now, sometimes the pics arent hosted anymore, and that sucks. But I get by!

i didny realize that MEK was illegal in some states!! we use it at work to clean out the paint guns and such.

MEKP is resin hardener for all of the fiberglass I have ever used. I hardly think it would be illegal.

It actually is illegal in Canada as a citizen to purchase over X amount of MEKP, not sure what the exact amount was, however I will say that you used to be able to purchase it in 5 gallon pails - those are no longer produced and the one gallon pails I haven't seen in years either. Simply being that its such a volitile chemical. That being said the rules do get broken, but they are there.

In the USA I'm not sure, I'd imagine different states have different laws.
