For any of you that have the 6 port actuators hooked upto the airpump... how is yours connected?
Mine just has a nipple coming out of the air tube from the pump to the ACV. My concern is that it wont really have any pressure to power the pump since at higher RPMs the ACV gets its air dumped out. (relief)
I'm probaby under-estimating the airpump, but dont know of another way to do it.

I used a summit RPM switch connected to a s-5 stock 6-port solenoid. the 6-port solenoid was inline between the hose parb in the air pump and the air input nipple for the actuators. set the switch at 4.5K. worked flawlessly.

My remaining 86na has about the same setup as yearsofdecay. It works just fine each and everytime.
Just make sure you tap the airpump air b/t the airpump and the acv and not after the acv.
To prove that it works at high rpms or over 3800rpm is easy. Make the Relief Valve....relieve. You can do that by removing the Blue elec plug from its solenoid, then reving the engine and watching the auxillary port actuators.

Well, I have a S5 ECU... so I have the brown solenoid plug for the 6 ports.. its not a problem of them opening on time, its if it will get enough pressure where its being "tapped".
HAILERS,
AFAIK, my ACV works properly.... I took it apart and cleaned all the springs, and made sure all the vacuum activated valves work. However when its removed from the LIM, I blow into the ACV "inlet" (from the airpump) it flows directly out the output (to the silencer). Is that correct? This is a S4 airpump btw.... S5 ECU.
