I have them too. I get people to check my headlights, then hit the sprayer button, and get them in the eye. Its really quite funny.

I believe the whole reason this thread was started was because scott was investigating where he should mount his fmic, he tried mounting it down in the frount but it blocked the oil cooler and he saw a 20+ degree in temps reading.........hey scott who made that rad mount/support?

i have a mariah kit. Basically a black magic fan with a custom fiberglass shroud.
Scott, i have the exact same problem with my oil temps. I have a FMIC that i built that doesnt block the all the air to the radiator. With my big mazdacomp radiator i have no issues with coolant temps, but the oil runs hot! Strangely enough, i took the fmic out temporarily and wanted to see the effect, SLIGHT temp reduction, but still hot oil. I was thinking about making a dual 25 row oil cooler kit and mounting it in the side areas like how FD's do it, Then they get their OWN fresh air, plus less radiant heat hitting the radiator from the stock oil cooler location. Any updates on your oil problems?

i just installed my FMIC last week. I noticed a 10 degree rise in temp in both oil and water. But it should really big anyhting big. You might want to get a Fiberglass Splitter for Mazda RX-7. its a functional lip. i have it and it works really good and looks good too....
