Talking Third time is the charm right?

long story short after having my car on the road for a week, my neighbors wife backed into my car.

Since i had the opportunity, i picked up a local shell (better condition) using the insurance money, and pocketed about $500

I wanted to post what i plan on doing the third time around and throw up some pictures.

1. Damplifier install
2. s4 to s5 Turbo/Manifold Swap
3. Recirculate BOV
4. Swap Engine & Suspension Over... Again
5. Ford Taurus Alt Swap
6. Battery Relocation
7. Charging Wiring Upgrade
8. Custom Brackets for rx8 seats
9. Idiot Cluster Relocation/Gauge Pod Install (Prosport Gauges)
10. Underbody rust proofing.

Damn, what shitty luck! and they wonder why FC's seem to always be in "project" status; Clearly there is a conspiracy amongst soccer mom's and other members of the cult of SUV to trash any 7 that is nearing completion. Good luck w/ the new project.

I like their product and it's much more affordable than the stuff offered by rivals. I used a heat gun to remove the previous dampening material and went a bit gonzo installing the new stuff.

My car was just rear ended in the same spot by an old lady across the street. How much did you get for your incident? Mine isnt nearly as dented, though it will still require some body work and paint since it is chipped.

The insurance agent wanted to total the car, but i popped the hood.
I was given $1047.67 but she destroyed the passenger tail light as well.

Picked up the Taurus Alternator and Optimum battery today!

I will build my own bracket for the alternator. I have read the two main threads on here about the swap. For reference, does anyone who did this swap have their measurements and material list handy?

They did not have the specific optimum battery for the FC in stock, so i chose the one with the highest regular and cold cranking amps. 1000 Cranking amps and 800 Cold Cranking amps. Will I run into any problems with the cranking amps being higher? I will be upgrading the charging system wiring with 0 Gauge Wire. (overkill i know, but what the hell...)
