thinking about selling
guys i want to get a new miata, i went and test drove one yesterday. Im in love with the damn thing silver ls model with 6 speed and the bilstein suspension. Its no where near as quick as the 7 but speed isnt everything. i dont know if i should part it out or sell it whole(88 t2). its in very nice shape just wainting for a coat of paint. ill post pics of it soon if anyone is interested. i would prefer not to part out as i have spent near 12 k last year alone on upgrades. all mods have 667 miles on them as i type this. its been off the road for about 2 years now but i drive it 2 a week just to keep her going. the only thing left to do is get a new clutch and paint. you could even do with out the paint but the front spoiler is black and the headlight cover is primer. it makes 10-12 psi. cant really tell yet cuz the clutch slips so bad that i dont wanna over rev and it doesnt have enough time to build good boost. i know it running rich cause i can shoot the biggest flames on the forum(no flame intended hehe) the only part i dont have installed yet is the haltuner just because im waitning to build a custom mount. it also has a clairion deck in it , clairion amp, and a jbl woofer that im mounting in the passenger side storage bin. this car is truly incredible. im moving to california in september so i wont be able to take the 7 with me. way too low and no cats or air pump. the car sits about 2 inches off the grouond with the spoiler. and the n1s are about the same off the ground. this is LOW. let me know who wants my baby. i look at all reasonable offers. everything has the same miles on it cause 2 years ago i blew a rear apex, so i bought a jspec and added all the parts at the same time. thanks

If it runs decently, why would you want to part it out? You won't make enough off it parting it out as opposed to selling it to an enthusiast. Let's try to keep as many of these cars on the road as possible.

They were talking about those a while back (****** just wanted them for their 6 speeds lol)
But I guess you're a autocross man
And SonicRat: I wish I could afford it, sounds like a nice car
And btw, aren't GTX's S5's? I thought GTR's were S4. Maybe i have my **** messed up.
good luck selling the car

actually, i think GTX and GTR were just package or optioned designations. for instance, i have a few RX-7 mags from japan and in the ads there are plenty of GTR's that are clearly S5's. GTX might have the lower lip, different rims or interior than a GTR of the same year...

Lives on the Forum
No, they are not.  It somehow stuck from a misconception from the old TeamFC3S.ORG days, but it's wrong.  That's why lots of non-North American folks are all confused.  The Aussies use Series IV and Series V.  I tend to like to use the Japanese designation of Zenki and Kouki.

i have pics of the car in my digital camera but i lost the installation disc. im wainting for hewlett packard to get the new one over here! im looking for 4500. please consider that i have approx 9 k in mods that only have 667 miles on them. still brand new. the body has 88xxx miles and the jspec has @ 30xxx but only 667 since install in my car. car pulls like a mother. i took my friends 2000 ws6(stock with 6 speed) easy. It handles like a dream too. The intrax and agxs work very well together. ill even give a bonez high flow cat(100 miles on it) with the car for those of you who believe in clean air. ill post pics as soon as i get the drivers
