I know that guys have dome this before and there are some Kits available for the Rx7 FC.This got me Brainstorming.
The rear hatch has the Shocks,dampeners,whatever you want to refer to them as.My question is:Has anyone ever Rigged the Hood with the Rear Dampeners to replace the old Rod used to keep the hood up?.Since the Rear hatch far outweighs the aluminum hood,I am thinking that even some Old ones will hold up the hood just fine.
I found some Part stores that sell these things for Pennies,instead of 80-100 bucks or more that the kits go for.Why not try to see if anyone has actually made another Way to Go about this.Right?.Thanks Guys.STYX.

 

whenever you install these shocks the hood to fender gaps look like ****. unless you dont mind a shitty fitting hood then dont do it..

 

do a search someone was selling kits for this, and someone has found a strut that you can buy at autozone that works well (its like an oem strut for a vw or something)
