Question Thinking about getting a RB Cat-back system. Advice?

Is the RB cat-back system good? Or is there something better (in the same price range. +- $100)? Advice/experience, thanks!

Great choice. I'm not sure about other cat-backs, but I like my RB.

Yo,

My buddy Dana (Rotary Racer) got one of the new NA Racing Beat exhaust systems. The thing is a work of art. All polished/chromed stainless. The cans are now polished, and are very eye catching, with laser-etched "Racing Beat" on the sides. The tips aren't overly huge, and the polished cans are just schweet. Oh, and it makes great power too. *wink* I've got the HKS 50mm exhaust, which is more stock looking, while the RB is definitely "Bling bling". It all depends on the looks you're going for, but for the money and great reputation, the new NA Racing Beat cat-back is hard to beat.

Buy it! Especially if you have a 86-88 na. The pre-silencer allows you to use the the aux port actuators w/o doing any modifcations. It has U shaped line coming from the side which allows the exhaust pressure to open the aux ports. Either way I promise you won't be disapointed. PM ARD T2 for a hook up on pricing for a complete kit. I bought mine from him a long time ago.

I have the new RB catback - it is very nice looking (although no one will really ever see the polished y-pipe, will they?). The sound at cruise is very similar to stock - it is slightly louder at throttle, but not much. I did notice (could be my imagination) a slight pickup in low end power, but no numbers to verify it.

If you want a stock-sounding system that is a bit more free-flowing and looks nice, then get the RB.

If your mufflers are still good, dont waste the money on new mufflers, they dont gain crap for power. I do get a little drowning noise at 3000-3500 RPM cruisingh
