driving to work one morning i reved my engine out to 7 grand and all of a sudden i heard a pop and i lost all power...my car wont idle it has no pep to it, it feels like im drivn a 79 honda civic. please help with this problem also does any 1 know any good rx7 shops in ny, close to poughkeepsie thanks alot

 

the cheapest easiest way to check 4 a blown engine is to pull the front leading spark plug and crank the engine 4 a sec and listen. then reinstall front leading and do the same for rear leading. if the pulses dont sound even your done 4. if it blew an apex seal itll sound obvious, trust me. compression check with the schrader removed is better tho if u have checker. watch 4 even pulses above like 80 psi.
