1. clutch, its never gonna be easier
2. all the coolant hoses, at least the hose under the oil filter
3. pulsation damper, again you have to take it off
4. metering lines, they like to break and sometimes the crimp fitting will fail

Consider scrapping out the carbon In all your Intake In conjunction with machine cleaning your Fuel Injectors. Dude, you will notice a significant difference In fuel economy and performance. Not to mention with a fresh rebuilt! You are putting a rebuilt right? Or are you just "pulling" out the motor for the sake of It?

My 1Gen is black, and has no AC. I think I could fry an egg on my roof, and it has only been in the 80's lately here in Florida. It's mostly a race car, so I don't drive it much. There is no way in that I would have a daily driver in the Southeast US without AC.

Black hatchback + Florida heat = Bad Juju

I drive in AIKEN SC everyday in my 75 chebby pikemup truckwith no A/C. The RX7 A/C never worked so why bother. A/C is FER wimps!!!!
If you want a/c go drive your gramma's bonneville IMO.
Extra weight blows!!!!
