Pics are kind dark, but they look alright?
It looks more dirty that anything - try to get them cleaned up and take better pics?
Do you feel any grooves on the rotor housing surface?

When i run my finger nail on the housing above and below the exhaust port and also around the spark plug locations there is only minimal scratching of the housings. Yes, i definatly need to clean them up to get a better look, just got the engine apart tonight though. The exhaust ports arnt damaged to severly to use ?

The exhaust ports are full of carbon, it doesn't look like there is any damage. You really need to clean them thoroughly to get a better idea of any wear/damage. The pics are too dark to actually tell.

Yeah, I really wouldn't care how the exhaust ports look.
The apex seals do not run over the insides of the exhaust ports, so it's really not important.
I agree with BlueTII - the exhaust ports looks like they are just covered with carbon bits.
