is there a way to adjust the tps?

I'm looking at buying a jdm TII with a bad idle problem. The guy told me just to adjust the tps. But when i went to the local mazda shop they said I can't adjust it and i'd have to buy a new one if that's what the problem is. Now this car has nos on it and I'm skeptical about it because a crack on the block could cause a bad idle. I didn't look at any of the intake piping for any cracks or anyting but that could cause it too. Plus there's no reverse and the guy said it might be a pin loose that just need to get back onto place but from my experience, when the reverse goes the others will follow soon.

It has NOS, a cracked block, idle problems, a bad transmission and you are still thinking about buying it?

Find another car.
