is there any way to find out the exact day your car was produced?

is there any way to find out the exact day your car was produced?

i mean beyond the month, there has to be a record some where right?
so how would i find out?

Well I doubt there are the records anymore of the exact date, and then you would have to also define what you consider "produced".

For example, do you consider the day the body was painted as produced??? or the day the interior went in, or the day that the car was test drove, or the day the last part was entered (like the air conditioning a week after the ship unloaded it, but before it was shipped to the local dealer.

well many of them were not completed for sale until they arrived at the docks in America.

But you might be able to get a ship date from Mazda for the day it left Hiroshima on the ship to North America.

Mine's 4/87... so I just figured the middle of the month would be a good time. April 15... tax day.... maybe that's not such a good day...

Perhaps if you meet with a club that gets together on the first saturday of the month, you could make that your car's birthday.
