this stupid buzzer keeps going off. its like a steady beep, but if i give the car a little gas it goes away. someone has to know what this is and how to fix it. please help.
all my fluids are good. no idiot lights come on, and i havent checked about the shift up light. but what would that have to do with anything? if you're thinking it might be the redline buzzer, its not. but ill tell you this, im gonna go mad if i cant find out what it is...
Once in a very great while I'll get that beeeping. I have found, that a good rap against the CPU with your hand stop it. Give it a try. That and or tugging on the wiring harness while its beeping.

on mine the seatbelt beeper will intermittantly beep at me
step one is to figure out what buzzer it is, ther are at least 3 in the car
(redline, seatbelts, coolant, lights on....)

Does your coolant light come on when you first turn on the ignition? If not, it may be a coolant warning. You may have an air bubble in the radiator. I had a problem with that right after I changed my coolant. Didn't get all the air out and the sensor went dry.
If it is a BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP
its a fluid.
if its a BEEP-BEEP....BEEP-BEEP....BEEP-BEEP....BEEP-BEEP....
Its the door.
If its another kind, (like the power steering on a earlier 2nd gen) then ..
well, its another kind, like...the power steering on a earlier 2nd gen!
However, for problem 1:
You might have an air pocket in your cooling system...
Put the car on wheel ramps, turn the heat on (this is important in any car), warm it up until the thermostat starts to open, then put a hose in the radiator at 1/3 of wide open on the spigot.
Top off the water this way.
Then top off the catch tank.
OR you have a bad oil pressure sensing problem.
fix it.
Problem 2:
3 things i know of make this sound.
door switch
ignition with key in lock
seat belts.
Fix the one that is busted.
If NONE of these fix it, (and Im convinced its your water level sensor thinking theres air in the system), then resolder the parts that always need resoldering on these cars.

did you remove your power steering or did it come that way. I had that same thing, it was my power steering. after I changed the pump and that little cylender type thing with the electric lead on the bottom of the pump, it stopped. now I took it off though.
My point is if you removed your power steering you should also remove the power steering computer. that is what was beeping form me
a series of five beeps, pause then repeat right?

NEW RECRUIT....The oil pressure high or low will not cause any lights or beeeps or buzzzzers. What will cause the buzzzzzzzzzzzzer is what is a low lever float in the oil pan. You can have 70 psi on the oil pressure gauge, but if the oil level in the pan is extremly low, the float will not float and will make a circuit that cause a buzzzzzzzer. But anyway, your oil pressure should be b/t 60-70 psi at 3000 and about 30psi at idle. The book reads a bit different, but thats close enough.
