Cool Thank you for making my car faster!

Thank ya all, less than a week in this forum and my car is better already

todays feat was reading about the 5th and 6th ports and what they do ect ect ect

well, i dont nkow about the port farthest from the firewall (engine was still hot and didnt feel like burning my self) but the port closest to the firewall was very much stuck, so i sat there, well stood for about 15 min slowly try to push it in and pull it out and eventaly it began to move alot more,

about 30 min after that i did the short drive from gf's to home not alot of cops, so i decided to see how it preformed, Man, i feel like i have a brand new car, i was doing 40 - 45 droped it into third and just went, i shifted at some point, dont know what rpm probly round 5500 and i kept going i was doing 80 before i knew it

I dono if im braggin about something thts not worth bragging, but i got a hell of alot more acceleration now

and its allyour fault!

he is talking the 5&6 port actuators above the exhaust manifold they are very often frozen giving you zero topend

basically there are two little pots that have a shaft in them they open and close at high rpm kind of like vtec in a honda. you can test by pushing on the roads with the car off if they don't move you have a problem. they should move freely. they are pretty obvious to see right above the the exhaust manifold...

It's kinda funny that making something work back to how it was stock is considered a mod.
