Standard rims questions

Okay, for an FC--nice rims, Mazda. But they're rusting.

What size rims should I go up to? And what size are the FC rims?

And don't RWD vehicles have to have larger rims in the back than in the front or something? What ratio does that work at?

What are you guys spending on rims?

i found this pretty cheap rim place. look at their specials. rim/tire packages for cheap. they have some I like very much rota subzeros those are pretty damn light for 17s and with tires for $799 or $599 i beleive. I dont think their shipping is unreasonable either.

The rota subzeros are like immitation konig subzeros (both weigh approx same)

also check this out if you wanna buy rims. has a whole buncha weights

all FC T2 rims are 16x7 i believe...

all FC 89-91 n/a rims (with the exception of the GTUs, 16's) are 15 x 6's.

some of the 86-88's had 15's, some had 14's.

if you wanna upgrade, try getting some lightweight 16x7's. nice size. i have 17x7's. they look great, tend to be a bit heavy...unless you get really expensive ones.

most all cars have the same size rim all around stock. all the FC's came with the same size rim up front as in the back...good luck

Lessee... my girlfriend got a great deal on her Camaro at 200 bucks.

How much should I be spending? I don't want to spend *that* much...

I really really really SO like these, but aren't ours four bolt wheels? How does that work? Can it be converted to five bolt?

Um, aluminium doesn't rust...

Nope, but a lot of people do because you can; on most RWD cars there's simply more room out back. Plus it looks good and they are the ones doing the pushing!

Well, okay, something on or engrained into the alluminum rims is rusting, and there are some holes :P

Are there any weird ratios I should look out for that would screw up my steering?
