temp gauge

is it normal for my temp gauge to be a hair over half way when all other 7's ive seen are about 1/4 of the way.

Yes. Yours is S5 (89-92). 1/4 gauge is for S4 (86-88)

agreed. all the s5's i've seen showed higher than s4's. if you're worried about it, get an aftermarket gauge (a good idea anyway)
