Tell me what you think of my TID creation

Just finished fabbing up my very own 45 degree intake and i wanted to get some opinions on the design and what i can improve on.
I drove it and i can feel an improvement. It just seems like the car can boost a lot easier and its gained some power, although theres no way to tell untill i get it dynoed.
What concerns me is the length of the tube comming off of the factory BOV, im not sure if its too long. I noticed also that i cant hear the BOV as much anymore compared to the stock TID. I want to make sure there isint more comressor surge now with this new intake system.
My next step is to fab up a wall from behind the AFM to block some heat and then cut a hole behind the headlight to let some air in.

Here are the pics and please dont critize me about my zip ties, i know its ghetto but its just temporary

I made it all. Its an intake tube that a buddy gave me that is basically cut in half. Then i drilled 2 holes in and got 2 nipples the proper size for the BOV and check valve and JB welded them in and wallah.

It was like 20 bucks worth of work.

Tacky? That's exactly how it should be done (except for the JB Weld). How is that tacky? How would you do it?

Nice.. Other than, yes... the JB weld..

I don't see how taking it to any metal fabicator could have possily cost much more than it would've cost to buy the tubes of the JB weld..

anyway, aside from that, definatly Do create some sort of heat shield or air box setup for it. Don't want all the time and effort gone to waste.

JB weld rules...
The trick is hiding it.
Maybe dab some silver paint on it.

but look at the BOV. Do you guys think its too long? Cuz i really cant even hear my BOV anymore.

And about the JBweld thing, i couldent find a place that could weld a piece of steal to an aluminum intake tube so thats why i went JB. Im going to paint it anyway you really cant even see it.

Thanks for the feedback.
