Tein Super Drifts, right for me?

I am looking to get a coilover system for my FC. The car will be daily driven and track driven about 2 times a month. Boston roads are quite shitty, but I live out side of Boston, and the roads around here are much better. I want something that has dampening adjustable .

I am leaning toward Tein in general because of EDFC will allow me to adjust dampening whenever without taking off my rear speakers. My driving conditions vary daily. I am thinking of Tein flex or Super drifts. Tein flex seems to have pretty soft rate and Superdrifts seem stiffer. But I dont know if its too stiff?

The car wll be seeing drags to autocross to road racing, annnd daily driving. Any other suggestions will be appreciated. thanks!!

i'd go with the flex...you'll probably be a lot happier...for daily driving drift spec spring rates with make ur *** hurt...and since drifting isnt on you're todo list its not worth it for you...if you think the flex is too soft you can order them with a bit stiffer springs, but like i said, drift spec is REALLY STIFF

Welp, goodluck on coilovers. I heard they sux along with the ride it give, but I suppose if you like it major stiff then go for it. i will never get coilovers. Im sticking to my setup Tanabe gf210's, KYB adjustables, and a bushing kit. Maybe replace the sways, dont know yet.

i've got my eye on cusco zeros...how can you say you dont like coilovers? basically the only difference between those and yours is that you can adjust ride height...i mean if you think coilovers are too stiff you probably rode in a car with a spring rate thats stiffer than you like...everythign is adjustable on coilovers...if you ever ride on a well adjusted set ur opinion will change

If you're unsure about what to get and what springrates to get here's a helpful link. Like the saying goes, having us choose and say what springrates are good or bad for you is like tell you what your favorite pizza should be.

I have a friend that has coilovers, and even though they are adjustable he said he wish he never went that route. We'll see my cars in storage til spring so I will have to let you know how my swetup rides.

id go for the RSR race springs with KYG agx's and then with the money you save you can get sway bars, camber plates, and a urathane bushing set. cuz damn coil overs are expensive! and with your daily driveing you'll hate the constant stiffness. but i hear that on seting 2 of 4 on the kyb's the front will hop when hiting bumps which id say is pretty damn stiff. but i'll know for sure as soon as i install them on my carhere in the next couple days. and the rears on the kyb's are adjusted by a **** you turn on the side of the strut so you dont need to take off the speakers to adjust them
